We hear from Steve Shank, President & CEO of Flinchbaugh Engineering. (FEI). FEI was founded in 1978 by two prominent local families - Meckley and Flinchbaugh - to produce a highly engineered product for a new Caterpillar tractor design.
This investment started FEI's journey as a contract manufacturer of precision machined components in Hellam Township. In 2012, FEI became 100% employee-owned. Now serving over 40 customers with $70 million in annual sales, 250 employees and 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Hellam township, FEI is a local manufacturing success story with a bright future!
