We will hear from Jacob Gilliland, son of Rotarian John Gilliland. Jacob is a professional fly-fishing guide and outfitter. For nearly ten years, he has been guiding clients from all around the world in places such as Colorado, Alaska, and Pennsylvania. Between 2014 and 2018, Jacob hiked across America’s three major long distance hiking trails totaling 7,536 miles and achieved the highly coveted Triple Crown of Long-Distance Hiking. Only 400 individuals in the entire world have completed this challenge. He will be sharing how this accomplishment has impacted his life, and how his experience may hopefully motivate people to accomplish their own dreams and think outside of the box.
