22 Apr 2023 SEMI-ANNUAL TREE PLANTING - 8:00 a.m. Apr 22, 2023 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM The semi-annual tree planting will take place on Saturday, April 22 at 8:00 a.m. Volunteers should meet at the parking lot at E. Philadelphia St. & Broad St. There will be 20 trees to plant. After planting the trees, those who are willing should proceed to the WELCOME TO YORK fountain/garden, where volunteers are needed to cut back the hydrangea and liriope; remove dead leaves from around the day lilies; weed; and prune and fertilize roses. Please bring a hedge trimmer (manual), pruning clippers, grass trimmers, or a lawn rake if you plan to help at the welcome garden. Please contact Al Sykes at (717) 880-1261 or awsykes@gmail.com to let him know if you can help with either or both jobs.
