Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith, the fourth president of York College of Pennsylvania, will conclude her decade of service on June 30th. A frequent guest and speaker at Rotary over the ten years of her presidency, Dr. "GS" will be with us for a final time, reflecting on the change and growth at York College that she was instrumental in leading.

Join us as we hear from Justin Ladner, President of Pennsylvania American Water, a subsidiary of American Water. Pennsylvania American Water is the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing high-quality and reliable water and wastewater services to approximately 2.4 million people. With a history dating back to 1886, American Water is the largest and most geographically diverse U.S. publicly traded water and wastewater utility company. Justin will share his experience as president of Pennsylvania American Water.

Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams is the tenth president of Central Penn College. She will be discussing the post-pandemic landscape of higher education and the innovative ways Central Penn College is responding to assert its role in the region. This presentation will highlight how the College is serving underrepresented student populations in career-focused programs for the betterment of the community.

Founded in 2013, the Northern Central Railway of York is a tourist railroad focused on history, education, and a fun experience. In this presentation, Ashley Zimmerman, Director of Development, will provide an overview of the Northern Central's evolution over the past 10 years; its mission of being an economic engine for York County; and its impact on the local community and beyond. You'll also get a glimpse of what's in store for the future and ways that you and your family and friends can share in the excitement.

21 Jun 2023 FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE NETWORKING EVENT - Mark & Val's Winery Jun 21, 2023 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM The Fellowship Committee will host a wine tasting at Mark & Val’s Winery at 1205 East Philadelphia Street on Wednesday, June 21, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Beginning as a stand at Penn Market in the spring of 2021, Mark and Val's Wines is a black-owned winery producing high-quality small-batch wine using the finest grapes from York, PA, and surrounding counties. Their bottles feature the faces of York County women, including former Mayor C. Kim Bracey, artist Ophelia Chambliss, and many others. Tastings will include samples of their wines and an assortment of cheeses. The cost will be $30pp, billed to your Rotary account.
