Bethany Miller, WGAL News 8 Sports Director,is the fourth sports director in the station's history and is the first woman to hold the position. Bethany gives attendees a glimpse into working in broadcast television and shares a behind-the-scenes glimpse into one of the most-watched TV stations in York!
Hired in March 2024, Bethany Born in York and a 2014 graduate of Susquehannock High School, Bethany is proud to return to her hometown to serve the viewers of the area she grew up in. She attended the University of Alabama for broadcast journalism and, since entering television news industry, has worked for three different stations around the country.
