Lyndsey Sturkey, Chief Program Officer with Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania (CISPA), shares the impact of CISPA's work and efforts to spearhead expansion efforts with new districts. In 2014, CISPA launched its first school-based programs in the School District of the City of York. Since then, CISPA has grown to serve 27 schools across 11 school districts.

Whether a child needs extra academic help, a mentor, a health check-up, additional food supplies or even employment training, Communities In Schools Pennsylvania (CISPA) is there to make sure each child gets exactly what they need.
Established in 1994, CISPA currently encompasses four local Communities In Schools affiliates in 164 program sites serving over 40,000 students throughout Pennsylvania.
