Imagine your favorite chocolate bar. The delicate snap, the smooth texture, and the rich flavors delight your sensations. Yet, how did this chocolate bar come to be? Who toiled for the sake of your delicious pleasure?  
 
Rebekah Shenk, owner of Redemptive Sweets, the newest fair trade chocolate company in York, PA is a young, female business owner aspiring to produce a delicious product for her customers, a quality work environment for her employees, and an ethical supply chain for every part of her production. An excellent business is characterized by more than simple profit margins. An excellent business ensures honesty and equality at every intersection of its dealings. 
 
LIBERATES, Dark Chocolate Covered Nut-Filled Dates, prioritizes fair trade chocolate, USA grown dates, and organic raw nuts. Learn more about the vision behind Redemptive Sweets and about their brand new business started in 2021. The lessons learned by this start-up may be instructive for you as well.

Lunch Reservations are NOT required.  GUESTS are welcome.  Please pre-register any "guests" with the office before Tuesday afternoon.  The guest lunch fee is $18.00 which will be invoiced to your Rotary account.
