Our speaker, Randolph G. Russell, talks about connecting with history and how that makes us better citizens and also enriches our lives. We've all seen videos of people being stopped on the street and asked things about our country that should be common knowledge. The history of America is an amazing story but all too unfamiliar. Russell's informative and entertaining presentations have been enjoyed by more than a hundred Rotary clubs from Orlando to Kansas City to Las Vegas.
In addition to his expertise in history, Russell is an accomplished musician who has performed in many European countries and throughout the United States. His presentation will include a surprise at the end.
He is the author of American History In No Time, a quick and easy way for anyone to learn the basics – in just a few hours. Copies will be available for purchase (cash only) at the meeting.
