Welcoming Workplaces: Best practices for DEI among Large Employers.
Kim Brister, Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for WellSpan Health, and Demietra Middleton, Human Resources Manager at Harley-Davidson York, share their real world experiences around developing policies to encourage more inclusive workplaces in the community.
Two of York County's largest employers, WellSpan Health and Harley-Davidson have been leaders in the development of the Welcoming Workplaces effort, a new initiative to spotlight, share, develop, and expand policies and procedures to build and retain a more diverse workforce, and to establish more welcoming workplaces for diverse individuals.
