Martin and Alexa discuss the origin stories of both White Rose Ventures and Braided River Collective and the venture capital industry at large, why York, and why now as well as an overview of their first investments made throughout the region and what’s next for the organization.
Martin Fedorko is the Founder and Managing Partner of White Rose Ventures, an innovation catalyst working with entrepreneurs, foundations, private investors and corporate partners to deliver solutions that enhance and promote entrepreneur-led economic development in South Central Pennsylvania.
Alexa Born is the Managing Director of White Rose Ventures and Executive Director of the Braided River Collective, the non-profit support arm of White Rose Ventures. Braided River Collective is creating a vibrant culture of business ownership by mobilizing the region to build a more equitable, healthier and regenerative community through economic development.
