Richard Craighead, Acting President of the York NAACP, shares the great history of the NAACP with a central focus on York.
The NAACP mission statement is "to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons." The emphasis of this statement is the need to strengthen all institutions in such a way that they contribute to the creation of an ideal American society.
Richard is the owner of the Inclusive Arts Movement of York and will share plans for the future.
