LOCATION:
HYBRID MEETING -
Country Club of York & Virtual Meeting on Zoom

PROGRAM:
Robin Spielberg is a world class pianist, composer, recording artist, author, educator and public speaker.
She runs three businesses in York County with her husband and business partner, Larry Kosson: a publishing company, record label, and a talent agency. She has released 21 albums and has close to 1/2 billion
streams on music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Pandora and Apple Music. A Steinway Artist, Robin
has performed concerts throughout the US and Asia. She is an adjunct professor at Millersville University's
Tell School of Music.

With 100% of concert tours canceled due to the pandemic, Robin and her husband needed to come up with creative solutions to stay afloat, stay relevant, and continue creative output during the pandemic. Attendees
will hear first hand how Robin's creative strategies, business philosophy and willingness to try new ideas in
a difficult climate kept her businesses vibrant through a challenging period, and be treated to a brief piano performance.

GIVE LOCAL YORK TO TAKE PLACE FRIDAY, MAY 6
                       Official Logo
“It is easier to build strong children than repair broken men.”  Frederick Douglas

This year, our Club, has committed to raise $30,000 during Give Local York to partner with York City Police Commissioner
Michael Muldrow in the creation of a Community Engagement Center in the City of York. The Center will be a safe space for
youth and their families and will provide free access to middle
and high school youth to take part in activities they are
interested in. Activities will include: culinary, dance, performing arts, video gaming and technology and fitness – as well as a safe space with police and police cadets as mentors, offering conflict resolution, tutoring and career guidance. Youth will also have access to meals, wellness checks, laundry and therapeutic services.

The Rotary Club of York will receive a naming opportunity for the multi-purpose gym space –Commissioner Muldrow has coined it the “Rotary Room.”  You can make your gift on May 6th at www.givelocalyork.org,
Rotary Club of York or contact Lynne by May 5th to make a donation by check.

100% of your gift will be used to equip the Community Engagement Center and help intervene and
build these children strong. Please help us make this visionary space and program a reality - your gift
will change a child's life - giving them the adult support they need to find their passion and guide them
on a productive, positive path.
