At our club meeting on May 24th, Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith, the outgoing, fourth president of York College of Pennsylvania, was awarded the Service Above Self Award for her decade of leadership and service at York College and the community at large. Her tenure has been marked with visionary growth of programs and infrastructure at the college, as well as a deepening of the college's connection to and relationship with the York community. We thank Dr. GS for the example she has set as a leader who truly puts service above self.
Rotarians who attended our May 24th meeting were introduced to an aspiring fourth generation Rotarian, Lucy Piccolo, 5-week-old daughter of PEN Courtney Piccolo.
