We will welcome back Dr. Scott Moore, Director of China Programs and Strategic Initiatives at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Moore directs Penn Global's four research and engagement fund programs, including those designed to support faculty-led projects in China, India, and Africa as well as its At-Risk Scholars Program. His most recent book, China’s Next Act, re-envisions China’s role in the world, with a focus on sustainability and technology. He argues that these shared global challenges are reshaping China’s economy and foreign policy.

DONATIONS REQUESTED FOR GENERATORS FOR UKRAINE
The York Rotary Charitable Endowment Fund (CEF) Board has voted to donate $2,500 from the CEF Disaster/Emergency relief fund to The Rotary Club of Szczecin, Poland for the purchase of power generators to supply hospital departments in Bucha, Ukraine. This action was taken in response to a request from the Rotary Club of Lititz to join them in donating to purchase power generators for Ukraine.
In addition, the CEF Disaster fund will match donations from Rotary Club of York members up to a total of $2,500. To make a donation towards this urgent relief effort, we need your prompt action to meet an early December deadline set by the Lititz Rotary to put this support into action.

RESERVATIONS FOR DECEMBER 21st MEETING NOW OPEN
The Rotary Club of York will host an off-site meeting at York College on Wednesday, December 21st. Rotarians and guests will enjoy lunch in the beautiful Yorkview Hall and then proceed to DeMeester Recital Hall for a Holiday Rave Review Program featuring local high school student performances coordinated by Rotarian Lyn Bergdoll. Reservations are required and can be made HERE. The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 14th.
FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE TO HOST HAPPY HOUR ON DECEMBER 15TH
Come join the Fellowship Committee for Happy Hour on Thursday, December 15th. Rotarians are invited to Lovedraft's Unplugged, located at 251 N. George Street, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Enjoy the spirit of the season with (pay-your-own) drinks and great conversation.
