HYBRID MEETING - Country Club of York & Virtual Meeting on zoom.
PROGRAM:
On November 30th, 2021, the historical merger of two of the oldest YMCA's in the country took place between the YMCA's of Lancaster and York to form the YMCA of the Roses. Lancaster, founded in 1854 and the York YMCA, founded in 1855, have regionalized YMCA services to leverage strengths and synergy to create impact meeting urgent and emerging needs in south central PA. The merger will strengthen the service and financial models, assuring sustainability and relevance in the present and future. LarryRichardson, having served as the President/CEO of the YMCA of York and York County since 1994, will serve in the role of the merged YMCA of the Roses as President/CEO. Larry will address the question of Why Merge (?), the merger process, governance, financial model, operations, organizational structure, mission/vision/strategy, the Y culture and its expected impact strategies.
