MEETING DATE
Wednesday, September 16, 2020

TIME: 11:55am Log in, 12 Noon Meeting to begin,
12:10pm Program with Q&A until approximately 1pm

LOCATION: Virtual Online Meeting gotowebinar.com

PROGRAM: As the only female pilot in an Air Force Pilot Training Class in 1981, Jane Dyer learned firsthand what it meant to be unwanted and unwelcomed because she was different.  Since then, Jane has made every effort to intentionally be inclusive.  Rotary is a worldwide organization binding people of all colors, faiths, genders, nationalities, ethnicities and beliefs.  The success of Rotary is inclusion.  However, the Rotary Club of Greenville SC, like many, struggles with reaching out to people who are different than they are.  A little over a year ago, they tried something different under her leadership as club President.  The club intentionally invited members of the community to join them for a Diversity Breakfast to learn more about Rotary.  Jane will tell us about this event and the results.

To REGISTER for this virtual meeting and view it LIVE, please visit

The registration information is also posted on www.yorkrotary.org (home page under "Happenings in York PA" and on the RCY calendar) and on the Facebook page.  Please share with interested family and friends.  You can join from a computer, laptop or mobile device.

  • Once you get on the auction site, peruse all the exciting items – jewelry, dining, home decoration, shopping excursions, family fun activities and much more!
  • To bid, click on the “bid now” button by the item.  The first time you bid, you will be guided through establishing a login (your email, a password, your name, and your phone number will be required for the log in).  Jot down your password so you have it next time you log in.
  • Next, you enter your bid for that item.  It’s that simple!
  • You may also place a bid on any item using the 'text' feature of your phone.  To do this, you text the 'three characters shown with the item followed by a "$" and the bid amount in whole dollars (ex: NEC$300) to 850-771-4776.  Your phone number will be used to identify you and you will be notified if you win.  You will also be notified if you are outbid so you can rebid the same item.
  • If you have any questions, please contact a member of our committee – Bernice Quesenberry, Dee Baker, Jane Schussler or PE Jackie Summers.
  • If you are at the event on 9/14, there will be a "help desk” by registration to assist with the auction bidding process.
  • The Auction will end at 7:30 pm on 9/14.  Chris Topf will once again be our Auction MC – don’t miss the fun!  If you are bidding from the comfort of your home on Monday you can tune into our event that will be streamed live and watch the program remotely.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
