Join us next week as we hear from Don Graham, an entrepreneur, community leader, and philanthropist who has founded numerous companies including Graham Engineering, Graham Packaging, and Graham Architectural. In recent years, Don has devoted his time to investing in and nurturing other manufacturing businesses through the Graham Group and its related entities. Don and his wife Ingrid have also supported many projects including those undertaken by his alma mater the University of Michigan as well as York College, Penn State York, and the YMCA. Don will talk about the more than 60 years he has spent in York, give an overview of his business and philanthropic interests, and talk about the importance of the York community in his personal growth and success.

The RCY Board of Directors has approved the following applicants for MEMBERSHIP: Shane Behmer (President, Paul Davis Restoration of Susquehanna Valley) proposed by Aaron Jacobs; Victoria Diamond (Senior Vice President, Central Region Wellspan Health and President, Wellspan York Hospital) proposed by Ray Rosen; Jenni Goodling (Realtor, Coldwell Banker) proposed by PP Rob Bowen, and Komal Patel (Commercial Relationship Manager, Members 1st FCU) proposed by Alexis Campbell. They will be inducted at an upcoming meeting.

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2022 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The Rotary Club of York has several great programs scheduled to complete this calendar year. We hope you will plan to join us in-person or via Zoom for the following programs:
Nov 23: Please note, there will be NO WEEKLY MEETING on this day.
Nov 30: John Clapham, CEO of PSC Biotech, will be our speaker. He leads BioTechnique, here in York. They manufacture clinical products for vaccines, and other lifesaving therapies for their clients. John's presentation will highlight some of the projects that BioTechnique has completed in York.
Dec 7: We will welcome back Dr. Scott Moore, Director of China Programs and Strategic Initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania. His most recent book, China’s Next Act, re-envisions China’s role in the world with a focus on sustainability and technology.
Dec 14: Michael Price, American writer and producer, best known for his Emmy and Writers Guild award-winning work on The Simpsons will join us. He served as a script consultant on The Simpsons Movie and wrote the Lego Star Wars special, Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. He will be speaking to us via Zoom from his home in California, however will will still meet in person at Country Club of York.
Dec 21: Our meeting will take place off-site at York College. We will enjoy lunch in the beautiful Yorkview Room and then proceed to DeMiester Recital Hall for a Holiday Program featuring a review of local high school student performances coordinated by Rotarian Lyn Bergdoll. All Rotarians and guests are invited to attend. We will begin taking reservations for this program in the next few weeks.

MEET THE NEW MEMBER- MICHAEL HAUN
Michael is a VP, Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch. He attended The Pennsylvania State University where he earned his BS in Finance. Michael has been a Board member for York County Community Foundation since 2014, is Chair of the Distribution Committee as well as a member of the Fundraising Committee. He has been Panel Chair on the Allocations Steering Committee for the United Way of York County since 2012 and the Lead Panel Chair for Financial Stability for the past four years. In his free time, Michael enjoys running marathons, golfing, and history. He and his wife, Katie, live in York with their two children.
