PROGRAM-
Our speaker will be the Julie Wheeler, president, York County Commissioners. Julie was first elected in 2019 and as the Commissioner with the largest vote total was also elected as president.
Julie is a seasoned Fortune 100 business leader. She has more than 30 years of leadership experience in industrial and medical business sectors. Prior to her role as President Commissioner, she was a General Manager of a Medical Device Business at General Electric (GE). She has extensive experience in strategic planning, business development and operational leadership. She has experience leading both domestic and global businesses and has lived in Hong Kong and Japan.
Julie supports her local Red Lion Community as a member of the BPO Elks #1592. She’s a member of the Women’s Giving Circle and an active member of The Women’s Business Center Organization. She Co-Chairs the Stepping Up Initiative, is a York County Economic Alliance Board Member, and is active in many other community organizations. In 2021, she was honored with a Community Impact Award from Bro 2 Go, and the York County Economic Alliance as an Elected Official of the Year. Julie was recognized as the 2017 Central Pennsylvania Business Journal, Woman of Influence for Community Achievement.

FEBRUARY 1ST OFF-SITE MEETING AT PENN STATE-YORK
The Rotary Club of York will host our weekly club meeting off-site at Penn State-York on Wednesday, February 1st. Fellow Rotarian and Penn State York’s Chancellor, Dave Christiansen, will lead a team of colleagues and students to showcase three of Penn State York’s programs that meet the definition of transformative, and are linked by an important common thread – leadership development. Learn more about the Graham Fellows Program, the FBLA Team, and the Center for Inclusive Leadership.
Lunch will be served in the Conference Center in the Main Classroom building and the program will take place in Polli Hall in the Graham Center - adjacent buildings with just a short walk from one building to the next.
Reservations are required and can be made HERE. The deadline to register is Wednesday, January 25th.
$40,000 AVAILABLE IN YORK ROTARY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2023
The Rotary Club of York announces $40,000 in York Rotary Scholarships available for York County college students for 2023. Students wishing to apply can learn more and begin the online application process by visiting www.YorkRotary.org/Page/Scholarships. Questions on applying or about the online application should be directed to Michele Richwine, Scholarship Coordinator, at mrichwine@tfec.org.

On Thursday, February 2nd, President Glenn Miller will be celebrity bartending at Aviano's Corner Trattoria, located on 101 S. Duke Street, York. Join President Glenn from 6:00pm-8:00pm as he looks to donate all tips to the Community Project Fund at the York Rotary Charitable Endowment Fund. Aviano's will also graciously donate half of each signature drink.

MEET THE NEW MEMBER- VICKY DIAMOND
Vicky is the Senior Vice President, Central Region for WellSpan Health and President of WellSpan York Hospital. She attended Queens College, City University of New York where she earned a BS in Political Science and New York University where she earned a Masters in Public Administration. Vicky is a former Board member of the United Way of York County (where she also served as Treasurer) and American Red Cross. While living in Massachusetts, she served as a Board member for Girls, Inc., American Heart Association, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She is a current member of Healthy York Blue Ribbon Panel. In her free time, Vicky enjoys cycling, hiking, and taking active vacations. She lives in York with her husband, Richard.
