Register today for The Rotary Club of York’s ONLY annual fundraiser, Love For Community, to be held at the Country Club of York on September 8^th. There’s something for everyone! Choose to play golf, tennis, pickle ball, corn hole or . . . croquet! 

The first croquet tournament in the United States was held in Newport, Rhode Island in 1870. It's a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels, and it provides a great opportunity for socializing and spending time outdoors.** 

 **Rotarian Mike Ausherman will host two croquet “tune up” sessions at his house at 761 Applewine Court in York on Sunday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 17th at 3pm. Here is your opportunity to practice and join other Rotarians for fun, fellowship, and learning. All skill levels are welcome. Light snacks and beverages will be offered. MEET THE NEW MEMBER: CARLY LEGG WOOD

Carly is Executive Director of the Center for Community Engagement with York College, where she is responsible for building relationships between the college and the York community. A resident of Maryland and graduate of St. Mary’s College, she is an active member of her children’s PTA and enjoys gardening, baking, reading, and spending time with her husband David and their two children, Nora (6) and Everett (3). She looks forward to joining Rotary and becoming more deeply involved in the York community both personally and professionally.
