GIVE LOCAL YORK THIS YEAR ON MAY 4TH AND 5TH!
This year for Give Local York, we are partnering with our own Rotary Club of York’s CEF Grants Committee, with a goal to raise $20,000 during Give Local York. Reaching this goal will DOUBLE the funding made available for our York Rotary Grants program this year. The York Rotary Charitable Endowment Fund has already set aside $20,000 to make community grants available in early summer. Your gift to Rotary Club of York’s Give Local York campaign will add to this pool of funds and directly impact current needs within our York community this year.
York Rotary Grants address the changing needs of York through grants focused on improving our local community. This year’s grant fields of interest align with Rotary International’s focus areas of Economic Development (Growing Local Economies) and Peace (Promoting Peace & Social Justice, and specifically, Gun Violence Prevention). Grants of $2,500-$10,000 will be awarded in June, 2023 to deserving local organizations working to address these issues right here in York.
Your gift through Give Local York on May 4th & 5th will help DOUBLE the impact our club will have in addressing these important issues and immediately go to help those in need.
Please help us DOUBLE OUR IMPACT - you can make your gift two ways:
ROTARY ON THE ROAD FOR BARNSTORMERS VS. REVS - MAY 3RD
We are partnering with our friends from the Lancaster Rotary Club for a night out at the Lancaster Barnstormers as they take on the York Revolution at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster on Wednesday, May 3rd. We look forward to re-connecting with them after last year’s event when we hosted them for a Revs vs. Barnstormers game here in York. The cost is $40 and includes dinner and suite level seating. To attend this event, please RSVP to PP Rob Bowen atrbowen5245@hotmail.com.Deadline to register is April 26th.
