The Volunteer Surge is a Rotary International program designed to allow those who wish to be of service to the community in the COVID 19 crisis, to be able to do so with purpose and direction. Rotary International Director Jeffry Cadorette was approached by the Global Impact Group since Jeffry serves in the region of Rotary which included New York, one of the most heavily impacted areas. Jeffry then took the information to the RI Board and the DG’s of the region for consensus and support… which he found to be unanimous. The program is simple: we need more volunteers to help in this fight against COVID-19 and you can consider being a part of that effort and who better to support their communities through such a volunteer effort than Rotarians.
The Membership Committee would like to extendHAPPYANNIVERSARYwishes to the following members who joined the club during the second week of May and say THANK YOU for being valued members of the Rotary Club of York.
