PROGRAM:
We celebrate National Library Week April 4-10 with its theme “Welcome to Your Library.” York County Libraries are in demand as much today as ever before, with in-person and virtual opportunities to explore new worlds and improve lives through access to technology, multimedia content and educational programs.  Presentation from York County Libraries President and fellow Rotarian Robert F. Lambert on April 7th will give us an inside look at some incredible changes coming to three of our library locations this year.  Kreutz Creek Library in Hellam, Kaltreider-Benfer Library in Red Lion, and Martin Library in York are currently undergoing expansion and renovation.  These library facilities will expand and renovate space to create dedicated spaces for teens, added areas for public and programs, and enhanced state-of-the-art technology for creative hands-on learning.
We hope everyone can join us!

A message from the newly retired, Executive Coordinator, Bert Oberdick:  It is difficult to express my gratitude for all the good wishes I received upon my retirement on March 31.  It was a wonderful exit from my career with the Rotary Club of York, and I will always have such special memories from the day.  The flowers, ice cream, photo book and Awesome Box of well-wishes from so many of my Rotary family & friends means so much to me.  I’m looking forward to sharing them with my family and friends.  And the Non-Traditional Scholarship was such an unexpected surprise – how do I thank all of the Past Presidents???  THANK YOU just isn’t enough but it will need to suffice, but know that it’s from my heart.  And of course, special thanks to Renea for her dedicated team work for 6 years and her extra efforts to make my retirement meeting so very exceptional.  I look forward to seeing everyone another day, another time, another place, and I’ll be watching for all the great things that the Rotary Club will do in the future.  My deepest thanks and best wishes to all of you.  Love, Bert

THANK YOU to Bob Kirkpatrick, son of former Rotarian Henry Kirkpatrick, for his prior memorial donation in Henry's name to the Non-Traditional Student Scholarship fund which was matched by his company, Frontstream.
