PROGRAM: Our speaker today will be virtual. The Central Pa. Food Bank covers some 27 counties in central Pa. In this time of pandemic and the rising count of those considered “food insecure” the Food Bank has been challenged to meet the needs of even more consumers. Their Executive Director, Joe Arthur, leads an organization of over 125 staff who work with local food banks, such as the York County Food Bank, and other entities to provide that service. He will tell us of the work that the Food Bank and particularly how they are coping with the pandemic. Joe is a fellow Rotarian and a member of the Rotary Club of Harrisburg.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION to attend the lunch meeting IN PERSON at the Country Club of York: Due to Governor Wolf's new indoor capacity rules as of 10/9, the Country Club of York can now accommodate a maximum of 50 members in the ballroom set with 12 round tables of 4 or 5 with open seating! Members are required to wear MASKS at all times unless seated in the ballroom actively eating.
You must be signed in to the website as a member to access, check availability and reserve a seat!

If interested in attending but there is no availability, please sign up under the "WAIT LIST".
PLEASE RESERVE YOUR SEAT ASAP. THE SYSTEM WILL ONLY BE OPEN TO MAKE RESERVATIONS UNTIL MONDAY, 10/19 AT 3PM.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so online, but communicate to the Rotary Office so members on the wait list can be contacted immediately to attend.
Please note - All RCY members attending the lunch meeting at the CCY will be invoiced $18 for lunch.
If you CANCEL after 3pm on Monday, 10/19, you will be invoiced for lunch, unless your seat is filled by another member from the “wait list”.
LUNCH MENU: Mixed Greens Salad (pre-set), Beef Stroganoff with Egg Noodles and Chef’s Choice Vegetable, Roll with butter, Chef's Choice Dessert (pre-set, alternating choices on table), and Coffee or Iced Tea.
If you are attending live and require a SPECIAL MEAL, contact the Rotary office (officeassist@yorkrotary.org) no later than 12N on Monday, 10/19/2020 to order your food. No exceptions.

Friday, October 23 - Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg-North hosts Rotary Night at the Cumberland Drive-In. The gates will open 5pm and "Jurassic World" movie begins 7pm, $ 20/vehicle and $ 2/radio rental.
