WellSpan Health/Lewis Katz Temple Medical School Partnership
We will hear from Tony Aquilina, Executive Vice President and Chief Physician Executive for WellSpan Health. He will be speaking about the new WellSpan partnership with Lewis Katz Temple Medical School to bring a medical school campus to York County. This new medical school will train future physicians with the goal of retaining the best to stay in York and at WellSpan. The first class of approximately 40 students at the new campus is expected to begin their studies in August 2027 and graduate in May 2031.
Lunch reservations are not required, and guests are welcome! Please pre-register any guests with theofficebefore Tuesday afternoon. The guest lunch fee is $20.00 which will be invoiced to your Rotary account. LUNCH TO INCLUDE: Beef Stir Fry, Chef's Choice of Starch, Fresh Fruit, Salad, Rolls, Beverages, and a Choice of Desserts.

MEET THE NEW MEMBER: DAVID MELUGIN
David is the General Manager of The Yorktowne Hotel. A native of Texas, he earned a BBA from the University of North Texas and is a former member of the Herndon, VA and College Park, MD Rotary clubs. He is Past Chair of the Fairfax County, VA Convention and Visitors Corporation and the Washington County, MD Convention and Visitors Bureau. He also served as Past Chair of the Salvation Army Advisory Board of Fairfax County Corps. David’s volunteer experience includes Special Olympics, Boy Scouts of America, and numerous community fundraisers and events throughout Maryland and Virginia. He was most recently voted GF Hotels and Resorts General Manager of the Year in 2023. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his adult children, Joseph (27), Benjamin (25) and Amy (22). Through his membership in Rotary, David looks forward to serving and improving the lives of those in the York community.
