PROGRAM: Rotary Foundation Kick-Off
From keeping peace, supporting education, saving mothers and children and providing sanitized water around the world to providing Trees for the Trail, America’s Promise for local students and improving the water quality at Kiwanis Lake, The Rotary Foundation is a high impact improver of lives around the world as well as here in York. Rotarian PEN Aaron Jacobs will provide an important update on the transformation of Kiwanis lake in terms of water quality, beautification, and significant enhancements for the future, made possible, in part, by funding made available by The Rotary Foundation. Rotarian Bill Hartman will provide an update on the success of TRF in York and how you can accelerate your impact as well as achievement of your first or a subsequent Paul Harris Fellowship through an exciting new Rotary Club of York program.

Friday, October 22 - Rotary Club of New Holland's ROTARY ROCKS benefit concert 7pm-10pm at The Barn at Stoner Grill. The 5th annual event will be a fun evening of dinner and live music in support of Lighthouse Vocational Services. Enjoy a buffet dinner and be entertained by Sam I Am and The Reed Brothers Band. ROTARIANS NETWORKING FELLOWSHIP EVENTS - TOUR OF THE YORKTOWNE HOTEL CONSTRUCTION:
Wednesday, 11/3 4PM–5:30PM and Thursday 11/18 5PM–6:30PM.
• All tours are during the week and after construction is done for the day.
• Close-toed shoes are required, hard hats are not required after hours. Wear old clothes.
• There is no plumbing currently, so no bathrooms (except the temporary porta-pottie type).
• There will be some stairs required, and there is no ADA accessibility currently.
• Photos are allowed, but any photos for social media must be approved by Kinsley’s safety review team (this is required and very easy, just contact Kim).
• We will meet at the Market Street entrance under the original canopy at the start time, once inside we will most likely not hear you. There is ample street parking and a parking garage directly across the street.
Monday, November 8 - Rotary District 7390 Development session 6pm-7pm on zoom. The topic will be "Reversing Rotary Membership Trends" presented by PDG of 7430, Herb Klotz. Monthly virtual sessions are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of every month. Advance registration is necessary. After attending, email Renea to receive an attendance make-up!
