YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY JUNE 17TH
The Youth Development Committee is supporting The Advantage Program, a not-for-profit youth mentorship program in York geared to expose middle and high school aged children to life’s opportunities. Once per month, the Advantage Program aims to expose participating youth to an event or venue outside of York County. In June, the Youth Development Committee is supporting this goal by sponsoring a Saturday, June 17th trip to a ropes course at Terrapin Adventuresin Savage, Maryland for 40 youth from The Advantage Program.
The committee is seeking Rotarians to volunteer as chaperones for this event. Lunch will be provided for all. Rotarians do not have to engage in the ropes course to attend. Volunteer Rotarians may carpool to Terrapin Adventures, or you may travel on your own.
To volunteer and/or for more information, please contact Ashlee Etzweiler at adoll0215@msn.com.
