PROGRAM:
LeeAnne Clayberger will present independent research on the impact of Covid-19 on Municipalities in Pennsylvania, in-person at the Country Club of York. These are findings from a recent survey of Pennsylvania's municipal governments. A graduate of Dallastown High School, LeeAnne's first job as a high school student was in York's Central Market. In the early 1990's, she was a Rotary Exchange Student to Langensendalbach, Germany, sponsored by the Rotary Club of York. LeeAnne is Chief Executive Officer for the Pennsylvania Economy League, a 501(c)3 nonpartisan policy research organization. She leads a team of dedicated staff and consultants that deliver technical assistance and consulting services to Pennsylvania's local governments, as well as independent research on public policy issues. In addition to research, PEL organizes and hosts Issues Forums throughtout the Commonwealth on timely public policy topics. LeeAnne returned to Pennsylvania and to PEL - after a stint in the private sector - in February 2020. She was compelled by a sense of commitment to PEL's mission and values - information, insight and integrity - and the belief that now, more than ever, there is a need to nonpartisan voices on the important issues impacting Pennsylvania.
