York County’s President CommissionerJulie Wheeler will offer a State of York County amidst the COVID-19 crisis. This will include an update on the current crisis mitigation efforts, the County’s collaborative oversight of the Incident Command Center, and where we go from here. Silas Chamberlin and KevinSchreiber of the York County Economic Alliance will offer an overview of all of the efforts done to date to assist those economically impacted, as well as provide a brief look at the economic impact and restart modeling related to the COVID crisis.

The award recognizes PDGBen in his commitment and dedication to Rotarywhile, at the same time, modeling what it truly means to give “Service Above Self”. His commitment and dedication to Rotary service has been exemplary. But one of the most important characteristics is his modesty in all that he has done and continues to do. PDG Ben has been a member of the Rotary Club of Yorkfor almost 50 years serving as President (1979-1980) and District Governor(2008-2009).

HAYES SCHOLARSHIP This$ 2,500 scholarship is in honor of the late spouse of Rotarian Alvin Hayes whose goal is to help current full-time college students attain their educational goals in the EQUINEfield(majors including management, studies, science, therapy, business, etc.) and further the York County Equine community.The downloadable application and informational letter are available on www.yorkrotary.org (Resources tab, then Forms and Documents).
