YORK EAST ROTARY HOSTS “PINTS FOR POLIO” - OCT. 23
October 24th is World Polio Day. For more than 30 years, Rotary and our partners have driven the effort to eradicate polio worldwide by vaccinating children on a massive scale. Today, we have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent, and just two countries continue to report cases of wild poliovirus: Afghanistan and Pakistan. We have made tremendous progress against polio, but eliminating all cases is going to take even more progress and perseverance. MEET THE NEW MEMBER: ERIC HOLEY
Eric is an Attorney with MPL Law Firm, where he practices in the areas of Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Municipal, and Real Property. A resident of Stewartstown, he earned his BA from the University of Austin and JD from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is a member of the York Chess Club, the York County Bar Association, and the American Association of Professional Landmen. In his younger years, Eric was a Rotary exchange student in Remscheid, Germany. His hobbies include HAM Radio, where he was recently awarded Technician Class License Holder, and Chess Club. He looks forward to engaging with other Rotary members and helping to further the Club’s service and outreach goals.
