PROGRAM:
Economic and Market Outlook: It All Depends on your Time Horizon
As senior equity strategist, Linda Duessel is part of the team responsible for formulating Federated Hermes’ views about various equity market conditions and the firm’s positioning strategies. She is also responsible for articulating the strategy, process, positioning and performance of Federated Hermes’ equity portfolios. The presentation looks at the short and long-term economic & investment implications of the COVID-19 pandemic. It examines what to expect for the economy and the market as the dust settles. The strength of businesses and consumers going into the crisis, along with unprecedented monetary and fiscal stimulus, could surprise in terms of America’s speed of economic and profits recovery. The virus will decide, but the long term investor will be well served if we are correct that we are in a secular bull market. The presentation also looks more closely at the long-term effects on Social Distancing sectors, and the surging importance of the millennial generation. Finally, it considers the implications of the current market structure. Are we in a bubble? The virtual program will be presented live.
