Each day JA BizTown opens its doors, 5th or 6th grade students become JA BizTown 'citizen's for the day where they work in one of the 15 businesses, manage their personal and business finances, develop and sell products, hold business meetings, pay taxes and donate to charity. Prior to attending the simulation, students are led through 17 teacher-led sessions. Volunteers will assist the students in their assigned businesses throughout the day. Volunteers serve as "business consultants", leading staff meetings, helping the student to read and understand their job directions, and reminding the students to stay on task and focus on their goals. Clearances are not required! Dress business casual, and bring your License & a Bagged lunch.
