What is BizTown?
Each day JA BizTown opens its doors, 5th or 6th grade students become JA BizTown 'citizen's for the day where they work in one of the 15 businesses, manage their personal and business finances, develop and sell products, hold business meetings, pay taxes and donate to charity.  Prior to attending the simulation, students are led through 17 teacher-led sessions.

What will you be doing?
You will assist the students in their assigned businesses throughout the 4 ½ hour day.  Volunteers serve as "business consultants", leading staff meetings, helping the student to read and understand their job directions, and reminding the students to stay on task and focus on their goals.

Training
Not much is needed to volunteer.  JA BizTown has training videos and job overviews.

Clearances not required!
However, you will need to scan your license upon entering the building.
