PROGRAM:
The High Center - Mike Mitchell, Executive Director of the High Center at Elizabethtown College, will emphasize the impact of family businesses on our local economy, as well as regionally and on the national level. He will also share data on the importance of family business education, governance and how generational succession is critical for the health of our local communities and non-profit organizations. Mike has been instrumental in making The High Center into one of the largest and longest tenured family business centers in the nation, with over 200 member companies that represent $24 billion in sales and 24,000+ employees.

MEET THE NEW MEMBER - RONALD STARNES
Ron is Corps Officer and Area Coordinator of York, PA for The Salvation Army. In this role, he coordinates all Salvation Army outreach in the York community and serves as pastor at the local Salvation Army church. He holds a BA in Music Education from God’s Bible School and College; an MA in Leadership and Ministry from Greenville College; and an M/Div from Asbury Theological Seminary. He was previously a member of the Rotary Clubs in Suffern, NY; Oil City, PA; Warren, PA; and Piqua, OH. He and his wife Margaret are the proud parents to daughter Cassie (40), and sons Mason (34) and Jared (33). In his spare time, Ron enjoys sports, puzzles, and walking.
