CFO of HUD -Vinay Singh, CFO and Chief AI Officer for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will discuss his journey from India to now living in York, and beyond. He will share his insights gained from his experience across government and industry, domestically and internationally. We’ll hear about his role at HUD and how it aligns to his passions for economic and community development.

DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MARCH 15 FOR YORK ROTARY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
The York Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of York, announces $46,000 in college scholarships available for York City and York County students for 2024. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, those currently in college, and non-traditional students enrolling later in life.
Students wishing to apply for York Rotary Scholarships can learn more about the criteria for each scholarship and begin the online application process by visiting www.YorkRotary.org/Page/Scholarships.
Application deadline is March 15, 2024. Questions on applying or about the online application should be directed to Michelle Richwine, Scholarship Coordinator, atmrichwine@tfec.org.

Non-Traditional Student Scholarship – one-time $3,000 scholarship – York County students enrolled later in life in technical or trade school, college or university
“Service Above Self” Scholarship – two-year $3,000 scholarship – high academic achievement and community service for college junior
Bush Scholarship – four-year $1,200 scholarship – high academic achievement
Mangold Scholarship – four-year $1,250 scholarship – high academic achievement
Kranich Scholarship – one-year $2,200 scholarship – any area of study
Diehl Scholarship – one-year $1,200 scholarship – Engineering major with a preference for York City students
Smith Scholarship– one-year $3,000 scholarship – Agriculture major
Kahley Scholarship – one-year $1,000 scholarship – Music major with a preference for William Penn or York Suburban
Hayes Scholarship – one-year $3,200 scholarship – Equine studies major for college junior, senior or graduate student
Wagman Scholarship – one-year $2,300 scholarship – Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at York College for college junior or senior
Rosenmiller Scholarship- one-year $1,500 scholarship – Health Care major

As a program of Bell Socialization Services, Bell Family Shelter provides emergency shelter for hundreds of York County women, men, and children each year, giving them a safe place to sleep, meals, intensive case management, and access to resources to help them get back on their feet after experiencing homelessness. This collaborative Rotary project brings our People of Action together from all around York County for service and fellowship. MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE DISTRICT CONFERENCE - APRIL 19 & 20
You are invited to attend the Annual District 7390 Conference! Friday, April 19thwill feature a kick-off event at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Centerin Carlisle. The evening will have fun and fellowship, but the highlight will be the finals for the District Four-Way Test Speech Contest. On Saturday, April 20th, a District-wideservice project will be held in the morning. At 2:00 p.m. all Rotarians will gather at Heritage Hills Resort in York for some informational sessions until 4:30 p.m., followed by a celebration of the 2023-2024 Rotary year with a cocktail hour and then the Governor's banquet. MEET THE NEW MEMBER - MICHAEL RASCOE
Michael is Project Superintendent/Business Development/Concrete Saw Cutting Division Manager with Lobar Associates, a construction services general contractor in Dillsburg. In this role he manages the daily operations on job sites and builds and fosters new and existing business relationships with existing and prospective clients. A veteran of the US Marine Corps, Michael is a York native and an active member of the local community, serving on the Board of Directors of Valley Youth House and M28 Ministry, as well as the founder of “Rite of Passage,” a Give Back Initiative. Michael also volunteers as a strength and conditioning coach with Cedar Cliff Colts Midget Football. He is passionate about health and fitness, and enjoys camping, skiing, pickleball, hiking, and mountain biking in his spare time. He resides in Manchester with his wife, Jennifer.
