Flinchbaugh Engineering - We will hear from Steve Shank, President & CEO of Flinchbaugh Engineering. (FEI). FEI was founded in 1978 by two prominent local families - Meckley and Flinchbaugh - to produce a highly engineered product for a new Caterpillar tractor design. This investment started FEI's journey as a contract manufacturer of precision machined components in Hellam Township. In 2012, FEI became 100% employee-owned. Now serving over 40 customers with $70 million in annual sales, 250 employees and 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Hellam township, FEI is a local manufacturing success story with a bright future!

PROJECT: Unpack and assemble beds to be used by families at the new Bell Family Shelter slated to open in early April. More information about tools needed will be sent at a later time.
WHEN: Friday, March 22 & Saturday, March 23, 8-11 a.m. You can sign-up HERE! The sign-up allows you to volunteer for a 1.5 or 3 hour shift on either/both days. Light refreshments will be provided.

As a program of Bell Socialization Services, Bell Family Shelter provides emergency shelter for hundreds of York County women, men, and children each year, giving them a safe place to sleep, meals, intensive case management, and access to resources to help them get back on their feet after experiencing homelessness. This collaborative Rotary project brings our People of Action together from all around York County for service and fellowship. MEET THE NEW MEMBER - KATHY DEMPSEY
Kathy is an Independent Fiduciary Financial Advisor and Insurance Agent with Primerica Financial Services. A graduate of Red Lion High School and Penn State York, she is an active member of the community through her involvement with The Women’s Club of York and the Women’s Networking Group. She is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Christian School of York, and has served as a school volunteer for 14 years. In the past she has served as a support team member for Physicians Serving in Peru; youth leader with Abundant Life Church; financial public auditor board member with the United Way; and a York County nursing home ministry worker through her church. She enjoys photography and spending time with her husband, Dr. Joseph Dempsey, and their two children, Daniel and Luke.
