The Pretzel Company - We will hear from Philip Given, President of The Pretzel Company. What began as a small pretzel bakery in downtown York has blossomed into ThePretzelCompany.com, a growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand that ships York's favorite soft pretzels nationwide. At their bakery location in Emigsville, each day, Philip and his team craft up to 20,000 hand-twisted pretzels, shipping them to enthusiastic fans nationwide. Philip can also be found showcasing the company's delicious pretzels on live television each month through their partnership with QVC.

YORK ROTARY FOUNDATION INVITES SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
The York Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of York, announces $46,000 in college scholarships available for York City and York County students for 2024. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, those currently in college, and non-traditional students enrolling later in life.
Students wishing to apply for York Rotary Scholarships can learn more about the criteria for each scholarship and begin the online application process by visiting www.YorkRotary.org/Page/Scholarships.
Application deadline is March 15, 2024. Questions on applying or about the online application should be directed to Michelle Richwine, Scholarship Coordinator, atmrichwine@tfec.org.
Scholarships Available:
Non-Traditional Student Scholarship – one-time $3,000 scholarship – York County students enrolled later in life in technical or trade school, college or university
“Service Above Self” Scholarship – two-year $3,000 scholarship – high academic achievement and community service for college junior
Bush Scholarship – four-year $1,200 scholarship – high academic achievement
Mangold Scholarship – four-year $1,250 scholarship – high academic achievement
Kranich Scholarship – one-year $2,200 scholarship – any area of study
Diehl Scholarship – one-year $1,200 scholarship – Engineering major with a preference for York City students
Smith Scholarship– one-year $3,000 scholarship – Agriculture major
Kahley Scholarship – one-year $1,000 scholarship – Music major with a preference for William Penn or York Suburban
Hayes Scholarship – one-year $3,200 scholarship – Equine studies major for college junior, senior or graduate student
Wagman Scholarship – one-year $2,300 scholarship – Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at York College for college junior or senior
Rosenmiller Scholarship- one-year $1,500 scholarship – Health Care major

MEET THE NEW MEMBER - BRYAN KELLEY
Bryan is the Managing Director of The High Center at Elizabethtown College, where he leads membership development, executive peer group facilitation, corporate partner relations, and member services. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned a BA in Political Science, and Elizabethtown College, where he earned his MS in Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development. An active member in the community, Bryan has served on the Downtown Board of Directors for the YMCA of York; the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement and for Dallastown Youth Basketball Organization (DYBO); and has been a youth baseball and softball coach with Gamers & Junior League Softball, as well as a youth basketball coach with DYBO. Bryan lives in Red Lion with his wife Nicole and is the proud father of four children, McKenna, Grayson, Jade, and Shae. In his spare time he enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.
