Supporting the York Rotary Foundation

Contributions to the York Rotary Foundation are tax-deductible and provide opportunities for both Rotarians and others to support the service projects of the Rotary Club of York. The York Rotary Foundation encourages contributions for both current activities and projects, as well as endowed funds. Individuals may support the Foundation through contributions of cash, securities, or property. Participation in available matching giving programs are encouraged to maximize contributions. Donations may also be made at any time in recognition of an individual or event, or as a memorial to a loved one, friend, or colleague.

The Rotary Foundation

Rotarians also strongly support the Rotary International Foundation, based in Evanston, IL. Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health and hope in areas that were once ravaged by diseases like polio, providing quality education, improving the environment, community economic development, peacebuilding and conflict prevention, and alleviating poverty.
