From keeping peace, supporting education, saving mothers and children and providing sanitized water around the world to providing Trees for the Trail, America’s Promise for local students and improving the water quality at Kiwanis Lake, The Rotary Foundation is a high impact improver of lives around the world as well as here in York.

Rotarian PEN Aaron Jacobs provides an important update on the transformation of Kiwanis lake in terms of water quality, beautification, and significant enhancements for the future, made possible, in part, by funding made available by The Rotary Foundation. State Rep Seth Grove, Chair of the House State Government Committee, speaks on redistricting and helps us better understand the process, the timing and nuances to redistricting.

Once every ten years the US Constitution requires a full census of our country in order to reallocate the seats of the US House of Representatives and redraw Congressional districts.  Further, the State's House and Senate seats are reconfigured for our representatives and senators in Harrisburg.  Seth and his committee have been holding hearings throughout the state regarding redistricting to gain citizen input for these critical proceedings.

Since 1998, The Rotary Club of York has celebrated the talents of the youth in our community with an annual program at The Belmont Theatre.  It is truly a recognition of the accomplishments of outstanding students in York County.  It has become a favorite program, as Rotarians look forward to enjoying the results of years of hard work and practice demonstrated by students in our community.  It is an exhilarating experience for the entire audience each year. Once again, this year's program features a wide range of talents, including vocal and instrumental selections, plus various types of dance.  Everything from classical music to Broadway show tunes makes this program a spectacular showcase!
